A museum dedicated to the history, culture and traditions of the five villages of Cinque Terre, located in Monterosso. The exhibition covers local winemaking traditions, fishing, the architecture of the terraced hillsides, and the development of tourism in the region. An excellent introduction to understanding the distinctive way of life of this UNESCO-protected area.
The ticket is purchased on-site. The museum is small but informative — it is recommended as a first stop before exploring the village. Opening hours vary seasonally, so checking in advance is recommended.
