A mountain standing 871 meters tall, nicknamed 'Zurich's own mountain', offering panoramic views of the city, Lake Zurich, and the Alpine chain. The summit is easily reached by taking the direct S10 train from the central station in just 20 minutes. At the very top there is an observation tower and several hiking trails through the forest.
The train to Uetliberg is covered by the city ZVV ticket or Swiss Travel Pass — no additional charge for pass holders. Climbing the observation tower is free. Visiting on a clear day is recommended for views of the Alps.
