A wooden pedestrian bridge from the 14th century, the oldest covered wooden bridge in Europe and a symbol of Lucerne. It stretches across the Reuss river and is adorned with a series of 17th-century historical paintings beneath its roof. At night it is illuminated and offers an unforgettable sight.
Free access throughout the day and night. Arriving in the early morning is recommended for photography without crowds.
