A mountain standing 2,132 meters tall that dominates Lake Lucerne and is one of the most visited viewpoints in Switzerland. The summit can be reached by the world's steepest cogwheel railway (gradient up to 48%) or by gondola and cable car. At the top there are hotels, terraces, and panoramic views of the Alps and the lake.
Round trip ticket including cogwheel railway + gondola + cable car (Golden Round Trip) costs around 72 CHF (≈72 EUR). Purchasing in advance online is recommended. The cogwheel railway operates only from May to November, while the cable car runs year-round.
