Everything you need for Capri in one place
Piazza Umberto I, known simply as the Piazzetta, is the main square and social hub of Capri. Around the square you will find well-known cafés and restaurants, while narrow streets lead from here to boutiques, gardens, and viewpoints. The funicular from the port of Marina Grande ends its ride right next to the square, making this the starting point for exploring the town.
Terraced gardens on the edge of a cliff offer views of the Faraglioni rocks and the famous winding path Via Krupp descending toward the sea. Landscaped gardens with Mediterranean plants and numerous viewpoints are one of the most well-known spots on the island, especially in the late afternoon hours when the light is at its most beautiful.
A 14th-century Carthusian monastery nestled in the historic core of Capri, featuring a tranquil cloister, an ancient church, and a museum dedicated to the painter Karl Wilhelm Diefenbach. It offers a peaceful retreat from the crowds at the Piazzetta, and from the monastery garden there is a view toward the Faraglioni rocks.
A sea cave on the northwestern coast of the island, known for the intense blue light that occurs when sunrays pass beneath a stone arch and refract through the water.
