Delete account

This is a courtesy translation. The legally binding version is in Serbian, available here: Delete account (SR).

This page explains how to request the deletion of your No Stress Travel account and all associated personal data. The right to deletion is part of user rights under the Privacy Policy (section 6) and under the GDPR / Serbia's PDPL.

1. What is deleted

When processing your request, the following data is permanently deleted from the database:

  • Email address, password (hash), and display name
  • All saved routes and guides (My Routes, My Guides)
  • Free city selection and language preference
  • All AI Smart Day Planner preferences and notes
  • History of City On Demand requests and associated private guides
  • Email correspondence with us regarding the account

2. What is retained and why

For legal and security reasons, the following data may be retained even after account deletion:

  • Financial records — invoices and payment records (Pro subscription, City On Demand) are retained for 10 years due to the tax and accounting laws of the Republic of Serbia.
  • Anonymized analytics data — aggregate statistics (Google Analytics 4) without personal identifiers, for up to 14 months.
  • Security logs — access logs (IP address, timestamp) are retained for up to 90 days for abuse prevention purposes.

This data cannot be linked to you personally after account deletion.

3. How to submit a deletion request

To verify that the request is coming from the account owner, deletion is currently processed manually via email:

  1. Send an email from the address you used to register to: info@quantessa.rs
  2. In the subject line of the message, include: Delete my No Stress Travel account
  3. In the body of the message, include the email address of the account you wish to delete (same as the address you are sending from).

Note: in the next version of the app, we will add an account deletion button directly in the profile, so sending an email will no longer be necessary.

4. Processing timeframe

We process your request within a maximum of 30 days from receipt, in accordance with Article 21 of the Serbian Personal Data Protection Act and Article 12 of the GDPR. In practice, deletion is usually completed within 2–5 business days.

After deletion, you will receive an email confirmation with a brief list of what has been deleted and what is retained (see section 2).

5. Right to appeal

If you believe your request has not been adequately processed, you have the right to file a complaint with the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Serbia: poverenik.rs.
