Sestri Levante

Sestri Levante is a coastal town on the Ligurian Riviera, known for its unique position between two bays – the Bay of Silence (Baia del Silenzio) and the Bay of Fables (Baia delle Favole). The historic center with its colorful houses, pedestrian streets, and fishing harbor offers a relaxed atmosphere, while the town's beaches and promenades are among the most beautiful on this stretch of the Ligurian coast. The town has a special connection to Hans Christian Andersen, after whom the Bay of Fables is named.
