Alp Grüm

Alp Grüm

Alp Grüm is a station on the Bernina Railway at 2,091 metres, perched on the edge of the first terrace of the descent into the Valposchiavo valley; there is no road access — it can only be reached by train. The line has passed through here since 1910, and the stone station building dating from 1926 now houses a hotel and restaurant. The Albula and Bernina railways are inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, so the journey itself from St. Moritz is already part of the experience.
