Biokovo — hiking trail to the Sveti Jure viewpoint

Biokovo Nature Park offers one of the most spectacular views of the Croatian coast. A panoramic road leads to the Skywalk viewpoint on Ravna Vlaška (1,228 m), while Biokovo's highest peak, Sveti Jure (1,762 m), rises even higher above Makarska. From the mountain, the view stretches across the Makarska Riviera and the islands of Brač, Hvar, and Korčula, and on exceptionally clear days the Italian coast can also be seen. Numerous hiking trails wind through the karst landscape, among rocks and characteristic mountain vegetation.
