Bjelašnica — Olympic Mountain

Bjelašnica, host of the alpine skiing competitions during the 1984 Winter Olympic Games, is located approximately 30 kilometers from Sarajevo. In winter it is one of the most well-known ski resorts in Bosnia and Herzegovina, while in summer it attracts hikers and nature lovers. At the foot of the mountain lie traditional villages and pastures that offer an authentic glimpse into life in the Bosnian mountain regions.
