Brijuni — ferry and national park

Fažana is the only departure point for the Brijuni islands — the islands are literally right in front of the small harbor, a five-minute boat ride away. On Veli Brijun, a safari park with zebras and an elephant awaits, along with Roman ruins, a Tito museum, and a walk through a park that was off-limits to the public for decades. An entire day can easily be spent on the island alone, with no need for a car.
