The boat to Bourtzi island is the easiest way to visit the small Venetian fortress situated on a tiny islet in the middle of the Argolic Gulf. The ride takes only a few minutes, and the boats depart regularly from the city harbor throughout the day. From the island, there is a lovely view of the old town, the harbor, and the Palamidi fortress, while the fortress itself is an interesting spot for a short walk and photography. The return trip is possible on any subsequent boat.
