Boat to Valun and Stivan Cove

Valun is one of the oldest villages on Cres — a white pebble beach, a fishing harbour, and the famous Valun Tablet, an 11th-century stone slab inscribed in Glagolitic script. From there the boat can continue to the quieter Stivan, a cove surrounded by pine trees with no paved road. A combination of sailing along the rocky coastline and swimming in spots that are not easily reachable on foot.
