UNESCO archaeological site 18 km south of Saranda, one of the best-preserved ancient cities in Albania. With roots in the 4th century BC, it was used over the centuries by Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, and Venetians. The most impressive remains include the city amphitheater, Hellenistic gate, Roman baths, Byzantine basilica, and Venetian tower. The easiest way to get there is by car in 25 minutes or by bus from the center of Saranda.
