A Greek island just half an hour by ferry from Saranda — a perfect full-day trip to another country. The Old Town of Corfu is paved with cobblestones, full of bougainvillea and Venetian architecture, with tavernas on every corner. The main sights are the Old Fortress on the eastern side, the Archaeological Museum of Kerkyra, and the Museum of Asian Art housed in the former British palace.
