A small ferry from Nidri travels to Meganisi in about 25 minutes, with several departures daily. The island has three small villages, of which Spartochori is best known for its stone streets and views over the bay, while numerous coves are ideal for swimming. Lunch at a taverna in Spartochori or the port of Vathy, then return on the afternoon ferry.
