Epidaurus is one of the most significant archaeological sites in Greece, located about 30 kilometers from Nafplio. It is best known for its ancient theater from the 4th century BCE, which is considered one of the best preserved in the world and is renowned for its exceptional acoustics. In addition to the theater, visitors can explore the remains of an ancient sanctuary and a small archaeological museum. It is recommended to set aside at least 2–3 hours for a visit. During the summer, performances are held here as part of the Athens Epidaurus Festival, so it is worth checking the current program.
