Donovaly

A well-known mountain resort located at around 1000 meters above sea level, just 25 km from Banská Bystrica. During winter it attracts skiers with more than 17 km of groomed slopes, while in summer the gondola to the summit of Zvolen (1402 m), hiking trails, and numerous cycling routes through the surrounding mountains are popular attractions.
