Fruška Gora and Monasteries

Fruška Gora is a low mountain range and national park south of Novi Sad, known as the 'Holy Mountain' for its many Orthodox monasteries founded from the late Middle Ages onward. Krušedol Monastery, with its frescoes and burial chambers, is one of the most significant, and nearby are Novo Hopovo, Grgeteg, and others. Alongside the monasteries, Fruška Gora features forest trails, viewpoints, and vineyards on its slopes.
