A mountain national park south of Ohrid, situated between Lake Ohrid and Lake Prespa. The most attractive spot is the Velestovo viewpoint at 1,500 meters above sea level, offering a view of both lakes simultaneously — one of the most impressive panoramic views in the region. There are hiking trails, mountain bike trails, and a winding serpentine road through the park. Most beautiful in May, June, and September — summer days can get quite hot.
