Our Lady of the Rocks at Sunset — before the last boat

Most visitors tour the island in the middle of the day, but the atmosphere changes completely in the late afternoon when the bay grows calm and the crowds thin out noticeably. The boat ride to the island takes only a few minutes, while Perast, Sveti Đorđe, and the mountains above the bay take on an entirely different appearance in the light of the setting sun. On the return journey by boat, views open up toward the shore, the islands, and the interior of the Bay of Kotor, while the colors on the water and stone facades change from minute to minute.
