Hike to Cape Lefkatas and the lighthouse

The southernmost cape of Lefkada, with the remains of an ancient temple of Apollo and a 19th-century lighthouse. You can reach the parking area by car or motorbike, followed by about a 20-minute walk across a rocky plateau to the cliffs. The best time to visit is in the late afternoon, when the cape offers a view of the sunset over the open Ionian Sea. Entrance is free.
