Hiking Trail to Agios Ioannis Kastri Monastery

A climb up steps carved into the rock leads to a small chapel at the top of a cliff above the sea, known as the filming location of the wedding scene from the movie 'Mamma Mia!'. The trail is short but steep, and from the top there is a view of the Aegean Sea and the surrounding islands. The visit is often combined with swimming at the nearby rocky beaches.
