Hike: Krk — Oprna Cove

A trail from the surroundings of Krk town leads through dry Mediterranean scrubland to one of the rare sandy beaches on the Kvarner — Oprna is almost cut off from asphalt and cannot easily be reached by car. The walk takes about an hour and a half in one direction, and the reward is shallow turquoise water and generally smaller crowds than in Baška.
