Hum — the Smallest Town in the World

Hum — the Smallest Town in the World

Hum has around twenty inhabitants and is recognized as the smallest town in the world — the entire place can be walked through in just a few minutes. Its medieval walls are preserved, and Glagolitic inscriptions stand on the town gates; leading to Hum is the Glagolitic Alley, a seven-kilometer memorial road from Roč featuring eleven monuments, erected in 1977. In the local konoba, biska is served — a mistletoe brandy whose recipe originates from here.
