The excursion combines the underground city of Derinkuyu, one of the largest underground settlements in Cappadocia, and the Ihlara Valley through which the Melendiz River flows. Visitors can explore underground tunnels, cave chambers, and hiking trails along the river. It is one of the most popular day trips from Göreme.
