Jurandvor and the Baška Tablet

The Church of St Lucy in Jurandvor, near Baška, is the site where the Baška Tablet was discovered — a stone inscription in Glagolitic script dating from around 1100 AD. The original has been kept at the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts in Zagreb since 1934, while a faithful replica is on display in the church.
