Kayak around Fortress of St. Nicholas and Šibenik Channel

St. Nicholas Fortress guards the entrance to the Šibenik channel and is one of the most significant Renaissance maritime fortifications on the Adriatic. Since 2017, it has been part of the UNESCO serial property 'Venetian Works of Defence between the 16th and 17th Centuries'. A kayak tour through the Šibenik channel offers a view of the fortress, the coastline, and the old town from a sea-level perspective, along a route suitable even for travelers with little kayaking experience.
