Kandersteg and Oeschinen Lake

A turquoise mountain lake situated at 1,578 meters above sea level, surrounded by steep cliffs, alpine meadows, and waterfalls. The lake is reached by gondola from Kandersteg, followed by a short walk and spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. Visitors have access to hiking trails, rental boats, and swimming during the summer months. Lake Oeschinen is considered one of the most beautiful and most photographed natural sites in Switzerland.
