Kastro — hiking trail to the abandoned fortress

A walking trail leads to the medieval fortress of Kastro, the former main settlement of Skiathos, perched on a cliff above the sea. During the visit, visitors can see the remains of walls, churches and houses, along with a panoramic view of the Aegean Sea. The excursion can easily be combined with a swim at the nearby Kastro beach.
