Kotor — Old Town and Walls

The most famous city of the Bay of Kotor draws visitors with its medieval streets, squares, and walls that climb high above the town. The ascent to the Fortress of Saint John requires a bit more effort, but the view over the rooftops of Kotor and the entire bay ranks among the most beautiful panoramas on the Adriatic. The most pleasant time to set out is early in the morning or in the late afternoon when temperatures are lower.
