A train or bus from Pisa to Lucca takes about 30 minutes. The city is famous for its Renaissance walls, on which you can walk or cycle (rentals available on every corner for 3-4 EUR/h). The center is car-free, with several Romanesque churches and a good local restaurant on the piazza.
