Matterhorn Glacier Paradise and the Ice Palace

Matterhorn Glacier Paradise, at 3,883 metres, is the highest mountain station in Europe. From Zermatt, it is reached by cable car, with one change, in around 40 minutes. The viewing platform offers a 360-degree panorama across 38 Alpine peaks, and the ticket includes entry to the Ice Palace, which Zermatt bills as the highest glacier palace in the world. Inside, visitors will find ice sculptures and informational panels on the formation and movement of glaciers.
