Mdina - The Silent City

The former capital of Malta, surrounded by medieval walls. Within the city are narrow stone streets, historic palaces, and St. Paul's Cathedral, while the ramparts offer views across much of the island. A visit is often combined with the neighboring town of Rabat and its Roman catacombs.
