One of the most popular experiences in Madeira, combining a cable car ride from Funchal, a visit to the Monte district, and a tour of the Monte Palace tropical gardens. From the upper parts of Monte, there are views of Funchal and the Atlantic Ocean, and the church of Nossa Senhora do Monte is also nearby.
