Nordic Arena

Nordic Arena, a cross-country skiing stadium opened in 2010, is the starting point of the cross-country ski trail network in Dobbiaco and the surrounding area, which also hosts World Cup races. In winter, trails are groomed within the arena itself and over the roof of the building; the shorter loop trails are suitable for beginners, and the arena houses a ski school and equipment rental. In summer, the arena is used for roller skating and ski rolling on a specially prepared trail through forests and meadows, and the building also contains a climbing wall. The cycling route towards the Landro valley begins here as well.
