A small town situated at the mouth of the Cetina River on the Adriatic Sea, about 25 km southeast of Split. Once a pirate port, today a quieter town with well-preserved medieval fortresses — Mirabela in the town center (panoramic views of the river mouth and coastline) and Starigrad on the hilltop above the town. The main attraction is the impressive Cetina River canyon — popular activities include boat rides along the river, rafting (spring and summer), a zipline across the canyon, and hiking tours. Ideal for an active family trip with children aged 10 and above.
