Hiking Trail to Profitis Ilias Monastery

The trail starts from the harbor and climbs through a pine forest to the monastery at the top of the island — about 600 meters above sea level, an hour and a half of walking. From up there you can see the entire Saronic Gulf, the Peloponnese on the horizon, and small islands scattered in between. The path is marked and can be done without a guide; mules or donkeys are not needed on this route.
