Blue Eye (Syri i Kaltër)

The natural spring Blue Eye (Syri i Kaltër) is located in the hinterland of southern Albania, surrounded by forest, and is known for its deep blue-turquoise water that wells up from underground. A day trip from Ksamil combines a drive through hilly terrain with a walk to the spring itself and a viewpoint above it. The water is cold throughout the year, making swimming brief and refreshing.
