Plose: Cable Car, Slopes and Toboggan Run

Plose is a mountain rising directly above Bressanone. A gondola cable car from the village of Sant'Andrea carries passengers to over two thousand metres, where views open up across the Dolomites and the Odle massif. In winter it becomes a ski resort with runs down to the valley and a long toboggan track, while in summer a network of walking trails winds through the alpine meadows. Its proximity to the town makes it easy to combine a morning on the mountain with an afternoon in the historic old centre.
