Pontresina and Val Roseg

From Pontresina, a walking trail of approximately seven kilometres leads through the car-free Val Roseg valley to the Roseg Gletscher restaurant. Allow around two hours for the one-way journey, depending on conditions. In winter, a horse-drawn omnibus pulled by three to six horses and carrying up to 30 passengers travels the same route, with the return trip also available by horse-drawn sleigh, subject to reservation. The valley ends beneath the Roseg Glacier.
