A triangular stone fortress on a small cape south of Himara, built on the orders of Ali Pasha of Ioannina in the 19th century. The interior can be explored — thick defensive walls, casemates, and a dark underground prison from which escape was nearly impossible. From the bastions, there is a view toward Corfu. Below the fortress lies a small beach with calm crystal-clear water and a restaurant with a terrace. In August, the Porto Palermo Festival is held here, with musical performances inside the fortress itself.
