Risan — Roman Mosaics

The oldest settlement in the Bay of Kotor conceals one of the most significant archaeological sites in the region. Roman mosaics from an ancient villa represent a rarely preserved example of life on the eastern Adriatic coast during the Roman period. Due to its proximity to Perast and fewer visitors, Risan is an excellent choice for a short cultural excursion off the main tourist routes.
