Uhrerhof Rose Garden in Bulla

On the Uhrerhof estate in the hamlet of Bulla (Pufels), at around 1,500 metres above the valley floor, there is a rose garden with more than 6,000 roses in around 250 varieties, which the local tourism board promotes as the highest-altitude rose garden in Europe. The garden descends along the hillside with views over Ortisei, decorated with sculptures and glass spheres, and one of the roses grown here bears the name Dolomiti. It is open during the warmer part of the year, when the roses are in bloom, and a local bus from Ortisei runs up to Bulla.
