Lake Shas — Nature and the Ruins of Svač

Šasko Lake is located in the hinterland of Ulcinj, surrounded by reeds, wetlands, and a peaceful rural landscape. The lake and its surroundings are significant for numerous bird species, making this a great excursion for nature lovers and birdwatchers. On a hill above the area stand the ruins of medieval Svač, once an important fortified settlement, so a single trip can combine nature, archaeological remains, and a completely different side of the Ulcinj region.
