Seceda

Seceda is a grassy ridge at around 2,500 metres, situated within the Puez-Odle nature park, part of the UNESCO Dolomites. A two-stage cable car runs from Ortisei itself to the summit, where one of the most celebrated views in the Dolomites unfolds: the jagged peaks of the Odle group rising sharply above green slopes. In the warmer months there are ridge walks and mountain huts, while in winter ski runs lead back down to the valley. It is easy to spend a full day on Seceda; the weather up there changes quickly, so a warm layer always earns its place in the rucksack.
