A sandy town beach in Sitges, around 35 km south of Barcelona — easily reachable by train (40 min). The sea is calmer than in the city, the atmosphere is that of a seaside village, and it is popular among LGBT tourists as well. Ideal if you want a beach without the urban crowds of Barceloneta.
