Boats with rowers depart from the dock near Place du 18 Novembre and pass through the canals alongside Alsatian houses from the 16th and 17th centuries. The tour lasts about 30 minutes and offers a perspective of the courtyards and waterside gardens that are completely invisible from the walking paths. Available from April to October without a reservation, with the quietest time being before 10 a.m. when the canals are nearly empty and the light is ideal for photography. The price is around 9 EUR per person.
