Mirabela Fortress — panoramic view of Omiš

The medieval fortress Mirabela rises on a steep rock directly above the old core of Omiš. A short but demanding hiking trail leads to it through narrow stone streets and staircases, with the ascent taking about 20 minutes. From the top, one of the most beautiful views in Dalmatia unfolds, encompassing the mouth of the Cetina river, the old town, the surrounding mountains, and the Adriatic Sea toward Split and Makarska.
