Stuibenfall

The highest waterfall in Tyrol, standing 159 metres tall, above the village of Umhausen. A barrier-free path leads to the lower viewing platform, while the upper section is reached via a staircase of around 700 steps with an 80-metre suspension bridge; a 450-metre via ferrata also runs alongside the water. The waterfall is officially accessible year-round, though the condition of the upper staircase in winter should be checked on arrival. During the summer season, from May to October, Ötzi-Dorf — an open-air archaeological park — operates at the same site.
